The Gunfighters Motorcycle club is a national, all male, 100% Law Enforcement club. We ride crusier style motorcycles and participate in charity events throught the 5 boroughs.
Our "colors" represent many aspects of law enforcement.
The COLORS: Black and White represent the traditional color of Law Enforcement vehicles. These original radio cars are historic icon of American Law Enforcement.
-The COVER: This represents a combination of an urban fedora and a western cowboy hat, both of which were commonly worn by Lawman in days past.
-The SKULL: A skull has historically represented the dead and those who have passed before us. In our depiction, the skull represents the legacy of the heroes of American Law Enforcement who have set the standards of Courage, Commitment, and Brotherhood, which we have all dedicated ourselves to uphold.
-The BANDANNA: This was widely worn by Lawmen of the Old West, much like a part of a uniform. These were the true Gunfighters.
-The GUN: This is the classic revolver, a six shooter. The primary tool used by traditional Gunfighters to do their job. Although this weapon has now been replaced by more modern handguns, it is still the symbolic tool of Law Enforcement. The flame in the barrel stands for the fire in our hearts and souls to courageously step into the heat of battle.
-The STAR and SHIELD: These represent the Shield of a City Police Officer or Federal Agent and the Star of a Sheriff or State Officer. All of whom have dedicated themselves to the Brotherhood of Gunfighters. The White Circle behind the Star and Shield represents the Law Enforcement community, of which all Gunfighters are part of.
-The MOURNING BAND: This is the traditional symbol of respect for Law Enforcement Officers who have paid the ultimate price. As Gunfighters and Law Enforcement Officers, we hold the memories of our fallen Brothers and Sisters with the deepest and most sincere respect and honor. May we NEVER FORGET.
